I’m endorsing Travis Tranel, Republican challenger for the 49th Assembly District.  Travis is the right leader for our area because he is a fiscal conservative with real world experience as a farmer & small business owner.  Travis is a job creator who understands how to re-energize our economy and put Wisconsin back to work. 

Tranel also understands the issues facing our local K-12 schools and UW-Platteville.  The new legislature will face the challenge of protecting those institutions while solving the multi-billion dollar budget deficit left by Governor Doyle and party faithful.  Now more than ever, Southwest Wisconsin needs a strong advocate in the State Assembly to set clear priorities and work for the interests and values of our families and communities.
